Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using LogIT: TV & Movie Tracker (“LogIT”, “the app”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Eligibility

LogIT is intended for users aged 13 and older. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

What LogIT Does

LogIT is a TV and movie tracking app that lets households and groups log, rate, and share what they are watching. Features include voice logging, an AI assistant, group sharing, watch history, and personalised recommendations.

LogIT Pro Subscriptions and Purchases

• Free trial: Monthly and yearly plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be billed.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Lifetime access: A one-time purchase that grants permanent access to all Pro features available at the time of purchase. Future features may be included at our discretion.
• Cancellation: You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective policies. We do not process refunds directly.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you add to LogIT (watch entries, ratings, notes). By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to store and display that content within the app for the purpose of providing the service. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add does not violate any applicable laws.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

Third-Party Services

LogIT uses third-party services including Supabase, OpenAI, TMDB, RevenueCat, and Google AdMob. Use of the app is subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Advertising

The free version of LogIT displays ads served by Google AdMob. On iOS, you will be asked for permission before any personalised advertising identifier is used. You can opt out at any time through your device settings. LogIT Pro removes all ads.

Disclaimer of Warranties

LogIT is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LogIT and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
